"The AELTC joined forces with ESPN to offer fans from North and South America the chance to design the official poster for The Championships 2014.
The official poster has been a commemorative part of Wimbledon history ever since 1894, and became particularly famous when it was featured throughout the London Tube network.
The winning poster was created by David Bartholow, from Los Angeles, whose poster was chosen by the judges, AELTC Chairman Philip Brook and ESPN tennis analysts and Wimbledon champions Chris Evert and John McEnroe."

The official poster for Wimbledon 2014, designed by David Bartholow.

The poster was the winning selection in a competition created by ESPN and the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. Bartholow is the first American to design the official commemorative poster of the Wimbledon Championships, an annual tournament tradition since 1894.
